Where are EDP’s data storage
facilities located?

Los Angeles, California (at left): Located in
downtown LA, this datacenter is the
primary storage facility for EDP
clients located west of the
Mississippi River; it is the
secondary storage facility for
clients located east of the
Mississippi River. This very
expensive facility was seismically
designed to withstand most natural
disasters, including an 8.3
magnitude earthquake. The building
was built to
house the third largest datacenter
in the country and is owned by Wells
Fargo Bank. The facility is also
used by Bank of America and Internet
sites such as MySpace.com, the 5th
highest-traffic website in the
world.

St. Louis, Missouri (at right): Located in
downtown St. Louis, this datacenter
is the primary storage facility for
EDP clients located east of the
Mississippi River; it is the
secondary storage facility for
clients located west of the
Mississippi River. Major carriers
such as AT&T, MCI, Qwest
Communications, Southwestern Bell,
Level 3 Communications, etc all
chose to build facilities in this
building.
Are EDP’s datacenters secure?
They are very secure. In addition to
their extraordinary construction,
EDP’s datacenters use extensive
video surveillance and are guarded
24x7x365 by on-site personnel. Access to the area
where the Storage Area Networks are
located is restricted to designated
personnel and further protected by
additional security measures.
