Silver Plan:
This service plan is for storing
small volumes of data that can be
restored solely via the Internet.
This allows the data to be stored
differently than under the Platinum
or Gold plan, and costs less. The
base storage provided under the
Silver plan is 5GB of data.
Compare our Silver Plan fee with
those from other data storage
companies where charges range from
$7-$20 per GB per month for similar
services!
A one-time $50 setup fee includes
use of third-party software for
automated backups.
Gold Plan:
This
Plan is for large amounts of
data, backed up daily, which must be
available for rapid restoration in a
crisis.
The base storage provided under
the Gold plan is 10GB.
Since this volume of data cannot be
quickly restored over the Internet, EDP
can furnish the data on DVDs or an
external hard drive for quick
restoration to a PC in the client’s
office. The DVDs or external hard
drive can be sent via overnight
delivery service or on a ‘next
flight out’ basis via the airlines,
whichever the client requests.
(All actual charges involved in
sending DVDs or external hard drives
are on a ‘per incident’ basis; the
cost for that service is not
included in the Gold Plan fee.) A
one-time $50 setup fee includes use
of third-party software for
automated backups.
Platinum Plan:
This is a premium data storage and
on-demand disaster recovery service
for mission critical applications
which require complete and instant
Disaster Recovery Service.
The client’s data and mission
critical program application reside
on a Microsoft Windows Terminal
Server set up for access over the
Internet via a web browser or Remote
Desktop Connection and the critical
data is replicated on a daily
schedule as determined by the
client. In the event of emergency, a
call to the EDP support center can
make the entire system available for
access immediately.
